Beginning in 1996, I had begun to write songs again and by around 2003, I had stockpiled a number of songs. Working full time in the ER and family obligations had led me to realize that the only way I would be able to document the songs that had come my way, would be to purchase the equipment needed in order to set up a home studio, which would allow me to work on my own time. So that is what I did. After my new equipment was set-up, "Let's Go Get Cloned" was to be my first entirely self produced, as well as self-engineered and mixed project. It was originally released in 2006. However, after it's first release, I later re-united with my lead guitar player and band-mate from the early '90's, Jim Christian. He is a multi-instrumentalist and he was able to add a great deal of musical flavor to all of the tracks, as he had done with my first two "records." Yep, I put the band back together. So, I can say it took me 20 years to finally get it “right.” That’s okay.. I played guitar and recorded my first tracks, and began to record my songs around 2004, beginning with the ones I felt most important at the time. Turns out, it seems they still are.

I do my best to live and learn, and after several re-mixes, I'm feeling like this will be my last take on these songs, which were written within a period from fall 1996 through spring 2004. It has been a learning process form the start, and that hasn't stopped.

About the songs, with the exception of, "For The Shape I'm In," the first six tracks were written before September 11, 2001, while the remaining songs came along after that date. I consider myself a witness to the Muse. My job was to simply write those words down. I feel blessed. I have done the best that I can. That is all I can offer. Times change, but these songs, I feel, will always speak to anyone who takes the time to listen with an open mind. I know Truth will endure. That is what the songs have taught me.
