I was just wrapping this project up in early 2021, towards the end of the Co-vid lock-down, and right before we were hit by a severe ice storm. This entire adventure has been a learning process since the songs started coming around some 40 years ago. The title cut on this project, is Stephen Foster's song, "Hard Times Come Again No More," which was written in 1854, six years before the out-break of our American Civil War. It remains pertinent to this day. Everything, it seems, is a work in progress, and until this year, 2025, so was this and all of my musical projects. I think that this time, these songs that I invested a good portion of my adult life to be, have finally graduated from being works in progress into become actual,"Works." As for me personally, I will admit it, I am still and will always be a work in progress.
